This woman will never ever forget – so good luck if you were picking your nose in front of her.
Not feeling too good, so no blog updates (plus I’m really typing too much at work these days to brain out another blog or two). So here’s more kitteh pics.

The Difference Between Dreamworks and Pixar Explained.
The $4000 Kitteh That Never Did Arrive. Oh the scams.
Work has been nutty lately, but there’s always time for WoW, I suppose. While many would assume I’m a hard core player, truth is, I’m pretty much off WoW when I’m not raiding. There’s nothing much to do in between the time where I’m raiding and I’m not raiding, and I would rather not spend it in WoW.
But here’s where achievements come in. It’s a time sink and you have to put in plenty of effort for them, but honestly? I couldn’t be arsed. I know folks who spend way too much time grinding achivements, trying to get titles and striving to obtain as many as they can for titles and mounts.
Fact is, it’s boring as hell. Even raid achievements, while interesting to tack on for when raiding, starts to not feel fun when you have folks who don’t focus and make even the simplest achivements hard. It’s probably a different story when you have 24 other really good players, though there are times where you wished you could just play the 2~3 players that are underperforming because you know you can just do better.
Generally speaking, I’m all for achivements that have nothing to do with grinding, and everything to do with challenge. That’s what makes Sarth3D fun and that’s what drives me on. Otherwise, I’m getting terribly bored with the game as it is. With Ulduar coming out next patch, it’d be interesting to see what happens, though from just reading the notes on WoW sites have led me to believe that it will be an interesting time for folks looking for something different at last.
Your thoughts?
I’ve been ill the last week due to a very bad bout of flu, but that hasn’t stopped me from finally getting my own kitteh. From lusting after other pussies, I finally now have one to call my own. And she’s just plain adorable, from jumping all over (which we quickly trained her not to by shouting at her) to rubbing our legs for pats, my kitteh has been a pure bundle of orange delight.
I’ve decided to name her Nomnom, not because she eats a lot (which I hope she will) but because the name is really cute for a cat. It was that or Bananacupcakesugarpie so yeah.
So here’s a few pics of her getting to know my place. More pics to come when I have the time to blog more.
p.s. Sorry bout the quality of the pics. I was using my iPhone.
And this is probably the first and last time I’m ever eating one again. Seriously, the hardest part is opening my mouth wide enough to fit the damn thing in. Here’s also a very interesting writeup on the McGangBang, starting with its timeline.
Versus the Double Quarter Pounder or the double Big Mac or the Double McSpicy, I would say this really is harder to eat due to the extra bread and the wierd taste of the beef and chicken.
The McWhitie, a Fillet O Fish between two McChickens will probably kill me for even trying.
And now I have a sore throat from eating too much heaty stuff. Zzz.
I recently took part in Nokia’s “Wear Stripes to Work Day ” which was part of their Comes With Music campaign. They promised great prizes if you wore stripes to work and being the lazy contest participant that I am (srsly, it’s not that hard to put on a tshirt), I decided to just join in the fun.
The result: one of my bengest collared shirts and taking a picture with some pretty gals. Oh and I won a phone too (which was announced at the event), which I gave away to the brother. The best part of the press event however, wasn’t really winning the prize (though it was nice), but the huge blown up photos of the folks who took part in the contest that were on display.
Thanks to the really cool folks at Nokia and Text100, my blown up picture is now on my desk and requires worship. I accept offerings in the form of snacks – chocolate preferably.
Please put it near Chicken Little or Domo-Kun.
Thanks.
Dear Dell,
I don’t really mind if it’s an error on your part, stuff happens, people screw up, we move on. But what I’m really irked about is how you don’t even have the decency on your side to call me up to explain it’s an error. Instead, you send me an email by some mailbot telling us you don’t really have to sell us the stuff that we ordered.
Now, maybe it’s a pricing error, I’m fine with that, I ordered from you in good faith, if it’s a problem on your part, I’m more than happy to let this go, I did indeed think it was too good a deal to be true (and I’m the one who broke the news on plurk before TK and CCB picked it up and re-plurked) and would have been happy if you bothered with a little more customer service instead of doing the mailbot technique.
Be nice if you bothered to actually call me and told me in person – hey we can’t really honor the price, it’s a mistake but we’re willing to give you a further discount etc. That would have been nice, if it was a good deal, I would still have bought your product or not, but I would have further cause to keep up my good impression of your business.
Now I find out that you actually honoured the deal and sent a monitor to a fellow plurker and charged him the price that was listed on your page. So…is that another error then? I really like your products Dell, I’ve been reviewing them and have always liked the quality of the products, but your customer service for your online shop is strangely quite lacking.
Oh well, let’s move on, but although I still like your products (the Adamo in particular is making me just drool), your online shop is really very disappointing.
And Dell, if you’re reading: see here for the plurk of the lucky dude. Bikey, this year is yours man.
This is said on my personal capacity and doesn’t reflect the opinions of my workplace.
