Oh hai from Taipei

Reached Taipei yesterday, walked around, did some touristy thingys. Like, for example, finally paying the 400NT to go up to the almost top floor of the Taipei 101 building. It was…interesting to say the least, though nothing out of the ordinary. The only cool part was probably the big huge ass wind damper, which is a giant steel ball that’s suspended inside the building to absorb earthquakes and strong winds. Was hoping for a strong wind to see it actually move but no such luck.

Oh well. Pics!

The view from the top

The huge ass wind damper.

The not-so-cute but trying-its-best-to-look-cute mascot, Damper Boy.

Now for the start of a very long work day. Catchya all in a little bit.
